Course Overview

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anytime. It can take place in homes, on the street and elsewhere in the community. A cardiac arrest is the ultimate medical emergency and is to be dealt with urgently. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is well recognised as the only effective therapy for cardiac arrest. However, without proper training to use AED and quick thinking, these relatively common occurrences are likely to be fatal. That is why Learn Construction offers Automated External Defibrillators (AED) training. This course enables you to learn when and how to use AED to save precious lives, backed with lots of practical sessions.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone interested in furthering their emergency first aid skills can attend Automated External Defibrillators course. If you are a healthcare worker, this course will serve as a basic module and can be used to show annual CPD training and defibrillator use.

Entry Requirements

There are no pre-requisites for our Automated External Defibrillators course. Learners do not need any previous first aid knowledge. However, learners should have a basic command of English and should be at least 16 years of age at the time of attendance.

Certification

On successful completion of the course and passing the test, the learners will be awarded a recognised Aid Training certificate, which is valid for one year.
